What a beautiful day we had today! After having so many gloomy, rainy days I know we are all enjoying this much needed sunshine. It isn’t too hot or too cold, it’s been just perfect! I don’t know about you all but this California girl is very much affected by the weather. It is not fun at all! :( I feel happy and ready to conquer the world when it is sunny, but not so hot that I’m melting (I know my fellow Texans get me! haha). Today I had the pleasure of having lunch with two beautiful girlfriends and my princess Matilda. We ate and laughed over lunch, then we headed over to grab an iced coffee and did a little shopping. I found the cutest headbands so I’ll post a pic. Who doesn’t love days like that?! After picking the kids from school, we did homework and got started on dinner. I found this recipe on Pinterest. I am a Pinterest addict, yes I can admit it :) I will share the link of the recipe in case you want to try it. I’ve shared it with many friends before and they all seem to love it as much as we do. Hope you are inspired to look cute, love the way you feel about yourself, love on your family and friends and give thanks to the Lord for giving us such a beautiful day! Always remember that we have the power over our minds and we can always choose to be better today than we were yesterday!
Princess was sleepy after shopping with Mommy
I’m in love with these headbands! They are easy to wear and lets be honest, we will never be too grown for a little bling, hehe! Similar here but you can really find these anywhere!
Here is a pic of my outfit today. Very comfy, perfect for a mom on the go. Yet fun and stylish. Please excuse the bathroom pic but I never noticed this is my only full length mirror and it isn’t very pretty but it gets the job done! I will figure out a better place to take full pics soon! Top: H&M // Jeans: Charlotte Russe // Sandals: Tory Burch // Watch: Michael Kors (It is on sale ladies!)
So Yummy! Recipe Here
I paired it with some whole wheat spaghetti and this yummy salad. Honestly I hated the dressing I put in it. It was our first time having it. I would just add a balsamic vinaigrette!
