Flannel Dress

IMG_5840I wanted to start off by saying thank you! I went to a ladies night at our church this past week and was so blessed by some ladies that came up to me and shared their love and support for this blog. I cannot tell you enough how encouraging your words were to my heart. The Lord has been putting a lot on my heart and I hope it is a blessing to your life as it is for mine. I love it when we can express our hearts and be uplifted and encouraged. Not judged. When I started this blog I prayed that it would be a blessing to anyone who read it, and I knew I would be so blessed by you. I was so humbled to hear you ladies tell me that you are reading along, because I usually assume only my family reads it! lol. In all seriousness, you ladies blessed me deeply. Thank you for your transparent and loving heart, and thank you for your encouragement! I pray the Lord keeps being the center of my life, and therefore the center of this blog. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Okay now for some girl talk. I shared on my Instagram page a few days ago how much I love flannel dresses. They are so comfortable and versatile. I posted a picture where I am wearing one of my flannel dresses in a casual style. Here I am sharing how I styled it a little more dressy. Again, so easy for a mom to wear. :) I paired it with some black tights, black booties and a faux leather jacket to make it a little edgy.

I also wanted to share this purse. I got it right before I left to Brazil and I love it! I found this shop on Instagram and quickly knew I needed this bag! It is made of thick jelly, perfect for rainy days or even the beach. It is affordable and I think I will get tons of use out of it even during the summer months. It is spill proof (need I say more?) and has a chic design. You can see their page here.

Oh and can I just share how much I love my necklace? I got this set a few months ago and I cannot take them off. I have my kid’s initials engraved on the bar and my initial on the circle pendant but you can engrave whatever your little heart desires. I love that you can separate them so it can be worn three different ways. You can find the shop here.

Hope you’re having a great holiday season with your loved ones. God bless.

Xoxo, Linda
