Use Me

Screen Shot 2016-03-18 at 7.08.07 PMSo much has happened in the past couple months. Life has been a little stressful with many unknowns, but through it all, my Lord has carried us through. I’ve noticed that the more uncertain plans become, which normally drives me crazy because I am a planner, the more I seek Him. His word says to seek Him and everything else will be added on. (Matthew 6:33) And that’s just what I’ve set out to do. I will be sharing in a few months some plans that are in the works. I can’t wait to share! But in the meantime I have looked for ways to serve others and not focus on my situation, and let me tell ya, my Jesus hasn’t disappointed. His blessings have been too many. I can’t tell you enough how some of the situations I have been in the past couple months have touched me and changed my life. I have met so many amazing women that I thought we would be ministering to, and in return I have been ministered and blessed in such a deep way. I feel so honored to be able to meet ladies that share their testimonies with me or just their heart for Jesus. Hearing their unfiltered plea for God to show up in their need makes my heart leap. I cry with them, I rejoice with them, I feel with them. It is such a beautiful thing. Sometimes I am so emotionally drained from the experience, but left with so many treasures I picked up along the way. They truly enrich my life.

The Bible says that it is better to give than to receive (Acts 20:35), and it is one hundred percent true! Sometimes you think you will be giving, but end up receiving in ways you never thought possible.

I thank the Lord for people that selflessly serve others and start movements that we get to be a part of. I almost feel selfish for just joining when they have done all the footwork. What a blessing to serve with them and unite in spirit to do what God has called us to do.

I have been visiting a Women’s shelter in Dallas. My team goes once a month and I have been going for a few months now. I cannot express how much I love going to visit these ladies. They are so transparent and raw, truly what God expects us to be. We have amazing conversations and they minister to us just as much as we do to them. I have been so blessed to have a leader that loves the Lord and encourages me to keep serving and seeking God’s will for our lives. Sometimes it’s hard to know what our spiritual gifts are until we start to put ourselves out there and let the Lord lead us. I am so excited for what’s ahead. Please pray for that ministry. It is such a blessing to those ladies.

I pray that our heart’s desire would be for God to use us. That we would be a vessel, empty of ourselves, that He can pour into and use for His glory. I am truly honored my Lord.

Xoxo,

Linda
