To my 30’s: Thank you for your kindness

I have been thinking a lot lately about life. About having purpose, the meaning of one’s life. I don’t know about you but I feel like my 30’s are really making me a more whole, secure woman. I don’t know if it’s that I had my fourth baby, age or what?  But I know I’m different. My confidence doesn’t come from my appearance or how others perceive me. It comes from personal accomplishments and just experiences. I know God plays the biggest part in my confidence. In finding Him, I have realized He will never disapprove and I am always enough. It took me a long time to accept that gift, I am slowly understanding it.

In traveling this past month, being away from my everyday life, it made me look at my life from a different angle. It sort of makes you reevaluate what is and isn’t important because you’re not in the middle of it. I’ve realized a lot about how I spent my days, how invaluable my family is and how important some friendships are and how some are not important at all. How you should give and invest yourself in what matters and how petty it is to waste time on nonsense. I am seeking God and asking Him to reveal the full picture. To guide my every step and to show me who He created me to be. So I can walk in obedience and fearlessly be that woman! I thank God for the opportunity to step back and realize what I couldn’t see, and have a new plan that excites me. Isn’t He amazing?! His creativity excites me! His plan is so much more amazing, and colorful than anything we could ever think of. He’s not boring or mediocre. He is everything!

“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.” 1Chronicles 29:11

Okay enough rambling about my self discovery. Lol. I leave you with a great, versatile and super affordable find. I have bought from this online store (Cupshe) before and so far what I have bought has been a winner.  I bought this dress before our trip to Brazil so I was excited when I came back and found it in the mail. It isn’t a thick material but it fits well.  And for the price, under $20, it is a steal! I love that I can dress it up for a date night (like I did in the pictures) or I can dress it down with some tennis shoes and a beanie. It has pockets which I LOVE and a slouchy neckline. Hope you like it as much as I do. And if you buy it make sure you tag me on Instagram!

Also, I am loving my hair! My sister is a fabulous hair stylist in the Fort Worth Area. You can find her Instagram page here.

Xoxo, Linda
